Thinking of you
If you’ve ever been deeply in love, then you’ll understand the above message. You always get a rush when you receive that good morning message from them; doesn’t matter whether s/he is in the next room, or across the world. When that message comes through, your heart skips a beat and suddenly you feel warm all over, especially if that is the message that woke you up. Why? Because that one message means that the person on the other end of the message was thinking of you when s/he woke up.
Sadly though, most relationships no longer have this spark and some couples can even go for hours without getting in touch with each other in the course of the day. And that’s how relationships die… anyway, that’s a story for another day.
What if I told you that there’s someone who is always thinking of you every minute of every day? What if I told you that it doesn’t matter what you’ve done or haven’t done, His love is still the same? What if I told you He always has your “I’m thinking about you” message sent to you every morning but you just don’t understand it?
If you think I’m lying read His message below:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV)
Yes! God is always thinking about you, whether you believe He exists or you don’t; whether you just killed someone or robbed a bank 5 minutes ago; whether you are just catching your breath after a romp with someone else’s spouse. It doesn’t matter.
His thoughts about you will never change. He is waiting for you to realize how much He loves you and how many surprises He has for you.
Think about it; He says He HAS thoughts …. not HAD, which means they are fresh thoughts; now thoughts, current thoughts, fit for this very minute.
Take time today to listen to what He has to say to you. All you need to do is listen to Him. All you need to do is ask Him, for He says “you have not because you ask not”.
How lucky we are to have someone who is always thinking about us 24 hrs, meaning He's always ready to listen to us!
That is the greatest love ever.
