The Higher You Go The Cooler It Becomes
Forget about what scientists, biologists, cosmotologists and all other "ists" have to say about the atmosphere and why it gets cooler as you go further and further up from the ground. They say something about the sun's rays heating the earth and then the heat from the earth starts heating the atmosphere, and that the higher you go from the ground that heat reduces and hence the cold. Which to me and from a layman's point does not make sense since the further I am from the earth, the closer I get to the sun...... think about it like a normal person would and you'll see what I mean. Anyway, that's why I didn't become a cosmologist, or a biologist or a scientist. I wonder how I would be if I had.....Anyway I digress.
I have my own version of why the higher you go the cooler it becomes. Let's first establish what I mean by "high".
Anyone who has taken strides in moving from the ground level to a higher level be it at work, in business or in their studies will tell you that the journey was not easy. They will tell you how tough it was and how often they felt like giving up. Why? Because when you want to do something different, when you want more than the rest want, when you are ambitious, it creates resentment in people who do not want the same thing you do. Majority of human beings are just lazy. Fact. They suffer physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and mental laziness. They just don't want to push themselves and are happy with their status quo. So when they see someone who has been one of them suddenly making that decision to step out and climb higher guess what happens, alienation begins. This alienation translates to coldness and loneliness.
Successful people will tell you how lonely it is up there. They have fewer (equally successful) friends, are the envy of many and if they are in the African setting, they can tell you how many times they have escaped witchcraft among other evil plots. That is why I say that the higher you go the cooler it becomes. Why? Because there is less human traffic at the top. There is less congetion at the top. Why? Because the higher you go, you realize that there are fewer people willing to do whatever it takes to get to higher levels of success.
But here is the thing; the view from the top is much much better! The air is fresher, the noise is less and guess what, you can probably walk naked and no one will see you. Why? Because you are alone at the top!
So no matter how hard it is, no matter how "cold" it gets up there, strive to climb higher in whatever you do. Do not be afraid of the loneliness that will come. To be successful, you have to separate yourself from anyone and anything that hinders you from achieving your dreams or goals. That is why the higher you go, the cooler it becomes. At some point, it will be freezing but that's ok. You'll have all the money in the world to buy technology that will keep you warm.
Don't be afraid of going after your dream because of the loneliness and the cold you will experience. The rewards of being successful are worth all the setbacks you will experience along the way.
Be Ignited. Be Inspired. Be Influenced. Become the best version of yourself you can ever be.
